Award wining author, Alan Lightman, to speak at Winthrop

What: Will be holding a lecture entitled "At the Crossroads of Science and the Arts," that discusses the similarities and differences in the way artist and scientist think.
When: March 26 at 8 p.m.
Where: Johnson Theatre
His background: After teaching physics at Harvard, Lightman paused to write scientific essays and his international best-selling novel Einstein's Dreams. Later he went on to write The Diagnosis, winning the National Book Award.
Interesting fact: He does not use e-mail.
