2/8 HARASSING PHONE CALLS
BANCROFT
A professor in the political science department recently received seven hangup calls in his office this month within a one-week period. He reported that the caller doesn't say anything, and there is no background noise.

2/16 POSESSION OF LIQUOR UNDER 21
COLISEUM
Two police officers working the men's basketball game noticed several students in the student section passing a Vitamin Water bottle around.
One officer advised the other that he noticed a student pour something into his cup.
Both officers checked the area where the students were sitting, and noticed one student kick his cup over. After detecting an odor of alcohol, the student was issued a uniform traffic ticket and was asked to leave the game. He will also be referred to the University Judicial Committee.

2/17 HARASSMENT
LEE WICKER
After receiving a threatening voicemail, an 18-year-old female student referred her ex-boyfriend to the Winthrop Police Department.
The voicemail, which stated that the 22-year-old non-student was going to slit the throats of her and her family, came after a series of eight phone calls the day before.
The ex-boyfriend also said in the voicemail that he would drop kick the student in her face, right on her "fat forehead." He also called her a "lying hoe" and made threatening remarks about her friends.
The student said she has only had random contact with the caller since they broke up in January of last year. She said she felt there was a high probability that the man might try to make contact with her on campus. She has saved the voicemail to assist in the investigation.
In another report, the female student said she received a text message from the ex-boyfriend in which he stated he did not mean anything he said in his voicemail message. He told her he had been under the influence of "kelonopin," possibly Klonopin brand clonazepam, according to police.
