There are 11 coaches in Men's Division 1 soccer that have 300 career wins. The newest addition is Winthrop's own Rich Posipanko.

Posipanko is now in his 19th season as head coach for Winthrop.

His 300th came in the final round of the Wingate Inn Classic against the Bulldogs of Gardner Webb this past Sunday as the Eagles won 5-1.

For the first 10 minutes of the game, the Bulldogs came out swinging, scoring the first goal. Winthrop then began their strike. A breakaway shot from Saidi Isaac five minutes after the first score ended up slipping past the Bulldog goalkeeper and into the net. Nearly one minute later the ball found the net again. It came from a Grant Wise cross that deflected off of a GWU defender and into the goal. This put the Eagles ahead 2-1, and the Eagles would not be behind again.

Posipanko now joins some elite coaches of men's soccer. He is 300-204-42 all-time.
