Here's what he had to say about himself and his thoughts on Winthrop:
The Johnsonian: What are your top priorities right now and why?
Clifton: Right now, my top priorities are passing each one of my classes and searching for additional financial aid.
The Johnsonian: What are some of the activities you are currently involved in here at Winthrop?
Clifton: I am on the Winthrop Track and Field team
The Johnsonian: What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
Clifton: Listen to music or dance
The Johnsonian: What is your most missed memory and why?
Clifton: There are a lot of them, but I must say back in the second grade when we had two recesses at Lake Wylie Elementary, man those were the days!
The Johnsonian: Do you play an instrument? If so what kind and how long have you been playing it?
Clifton: No, but I use to be the drum major at my high school.
The Johnsonian: If you were president for the day, what changes would you make in the world and why?
Clifton: I am not really into politics and their issues, but I would have to say that I would change the salaries of public school teachers. This is because this is one of the professions that makes all other professions possible, but yet their income does not express the idea.
The Johnsonian: Would you consider yourself a health nut? Explain.
Clifton: To a certain extent, yes, because I like to be and stay healthy. As an athlete, being healthy is a key concern, so I have to no matter what.
