Corey Brunk is by far the worst columnist that the paper has on its staff. His arguments, other than the article on Pluto not being a planet anymore (in which no one cares what his opinion is because he is not an astronomer), are all arguments that the thousands of Winthrop students have been making for years. Too much schoolwork? Please, every teenager in 7th grade makes that argument. This is college, it's supposed to be hard, if it wasn't your degree wouldn't be worth jack. Too much money on pine needles? Way to get off topic. Yes, it is a bummer that we can no longer pay online by plastic. Yes it is a stupid decision by Winthrop. They did it as a precaution against ID theft, not as a business decision. If he would've read the article on the front page of the same paper he writes for he would've seen that. As someone who is unfortunate to have Corey in class and has to listen to his opinions in person, everytime he opens his mouth I cry. I have a message for him. Stop wasting our time and your breath. Petitions against less classwork are not going to work, especially against the head of the department that your major is - way to show initiative. Grow up and quit yer b****in'.
