9/18 - Larceny of bicycle

At approximately 11 a.m., the victim came to the Winthrop police department to report the theft of his bicycle from the bicycle rack in front of Richardson Hall. The victim related that a suspect defeated the cable lock and removed his chrome-colored Mongoose Outer Limit BMX bicycle from the bicycle rack.

The bicycle has a 20-inch chrome frame, front and rear foot pegs, rear linear and front caliper brakes, black saddle, and black handlebars. The victim said that the seat post is raised and the handlebars raked forward. The "Mongoose" and "Outer Limit" lettering on the frame and front fork is orange, yellow and black.

9/20 - Unknown medical condition investigation

An officer responded to West Thomson Hall in reference to the subject being unconscious on the outside of the building. The subject was completely passed out, with a faint pulse. Emergency medical services were notified to come to the scene. Before EMS arrived, the subject began vomiting. The subject smelled of alcoholic beverages.

EMS arrived on the scene, and transported the subject to the emergency room at Piedmont Medical Center. The subject was stabilized there, and at the time of this report, she was still incoherent, with her condition still not diagnosed. There was a search done of her room, which resulted in nine empty beer cans being found in her trashcan. Residence life personnel were notified of the incident. Assistant director of residence life J.T. Timmons attempted contact with the subject's parents but was unsuccessful. However, he did leave a lengthy voicemail explaining the situation.

9/23 - Damage to property

A Winthrop officer reported to the scene of a reported damage to property. Upon inspecting the victim's vehicle, the officer found that the driver's door window had been broken. When the victim arrived, he checked the interior and advised that nothing was missing. No other vehicles in the parking lot were damaged. Victim related that he had met with a suspect on Sept. 23 on campus and had told her he was not interested in continuing their relationship. The victim indicated the suspect has a history of aggressive emotional outbursts. The victim stated that he had not seen the suspect since their last meeting and did not know how she located his vehicle. Once the victim accounted for all the contents of the vehicle, he advised the officer that he did not wish to pursue further legal action.
