"Do not let our town be poisoned by this casino!" Chase Revere desperately yelled into a blow horn while sitting in his blue station wagon.

But don't worry. A casino will not be poisoning Rock Hill anytime soon. However, it will be attempting to do so in the fictional town of "Patriotville."

Produced by Two Roads Entertainment, "Patriotville" is a modestly budgeted production being filmed in and around Rock Hill and Chester.

Pre-production began in Rock Hill in the middle of June and continued until late August when production then began filming in Chester.

Due to the recent financial incentives in South Carolina, "Patriotville" and other films are in production all around the state.

In September, filming for Hyde Park Entertainment's thriller "Asylum" will begin in Rock Hill. In Columbia, Kevin Bacon will begin filming "Death Sentence," also in September.

"Patriotville" includes a casting with strong filmography resumes. Justin Long, 28-year-old actor ("Accepted," "Waiting") takes on the lead role of Chase Revere, a young man who discovers that an Indian casino is going to be built on top of his town's historic battlefield. Revere's dedication to stopping the casino from being built causes him to met Lucy Shanks, played by 29-year old actress Emmanuelle Chriqui ("Entourage," "Waiting," and "Wrong Turn").

Keir O'Donnell ("CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Wedding Crashers") stars as Digger Morris. Missy Pyle ("Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," and "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy") stars as Faith Fishback.

Producers Larry Furlong and Lori Christopher, partners of Two Roads Entertainment, teamed up together to produce "Patriotville" on location in South Carolina. Furlong, a Charlotte, N.C. native, helped pick out the location for the filming of "Patriotville."

"I thought about places along the east coast that had great small towns," Furlong said. "Being from Charlotte, I knew about little towns like Chester and Rock Hill. The financial incentives of filming in South Carolina and the perfect locale fit was a big factor in deciding where to film the movie."
