4/14 Driving under suspension, open container, possession of marijuana

Officer stopped the suspect's vehicle after the officer observed the subject not wearing a seatbelt and operating an unsafe vehicle. After running a DMV check of the subject's driver's license, it was revealed to be suspended. The officer found 16 oz. and a 12 oz. open cans of Bud Light in the vehicle. While searching, the arresting officer located a quantity of marijuana inside the right-hand pocket of the subject's sweater inside the vehicle. The officer could smell marijuana inside the vehicle. The subject was transported to the Rock Hill jail and his vehicle was towed.

4/14 Possession of beer under 21, False information to police

Officer was on patrol and observed the suspect walking with a female. The suspect was carrying an open beer. The subject saw the officer and set the beer on the ground and threw something off into the distance. The officer asked the suspect how old he was and he replied 21. The officer asked the subject for his identification and he stated he did not have any. The officer recovered a 12 oz. bottle of Bud Light. The officer looked in the direction in which the subject threw the object and located the subject's wallet containing his driver's license that revealed he was under 21. The officer asked the subject why he lied and he did not reply. The subject was arrested and transported to the Rock Hill jail.


Eden Terrace (Tennis Complex)
4/15 - Disorderly conduct intoxicated, resisting police

While investigating mischievous behavior at the tennis complex, the officer observed the subject urinating in public beside a vehicle. Upon arrival, the subject began to curse and stumbled into the vehicle. The officer requested the subject step out of the vehicle and attempted to place the subject under arrest for disorderly conduct intoxicated. The subject resisted arrest by attempting to strike the officer with his left fist, while grabbing a hold of the right-hand cuff as he attempted to rip the handcuffs from the officer. The officer was able to wrestle the subject to the ground and place the subject under arrest.
