4/2 Larceny of a bicycle
A victim came to the Winthrop Police Department to report his bicycle had been stolen from the bike rack in front of Rutledge. The victim stated he locked his bike in the rack with a cable/key lock through the front wheel and frame at about 4 p.m. on April 1 and went into the building to work on a project. He went on to say that when he left at about 8 p.m. he was talking to some friends and walked back to his dorm with them, forgetting about his bike. When he went back to Rutledge for class at 9 a.m. on April 2, he noticed that his bike was no longer in the rack.

4/2 Trespassing
An officer received a call from an unknown subject stating that a man was sitting at the West Thomson Hall smoking area wasn't supposed to be on campus. Upon arrival at the smoking area, the officer observed the subject in the area. The officer checked to see if the subject has been issued a trespass warning prior. Dispatch said that the subject is currently on trespass notice from campus. The officer arrested the subject and transported him to the Rock Hill jail.

4/2 Unlawful use of telephone
The victim stated on the suspect contacted her by telephone. The victim and suspect are recently divorced with paperwork stating no contact is to be made by the suspect. The victim stated the suspect called her at 9:02 p.m. and began talking about her child. The suspect then began talking about the victim changing her last name. The victim told the suspect not to call back and hung up the phone. The suspect then called back at 9:06 p.m. and continued to tell the victim to change her last name. The victim again told him not to call back and hung up. The suspect then called back three more times. The victim said she did not answer the phone.
